ドラベ症候群のQOL（生活の質）向上のためのデータベース

田辺三菱製薬「手のひらパートナープログラム」より助成していただき、ドラベ症候群のQOL（生活の質）向上のためのデータベースが出来ました。患者情報を入力するのは患者家族です。医師・研究者・教員・支援員・福祉関係者・難病家族の方も閲覧登録していただく事で、ドラベ症候群の子ども達も子どもらしく生きられますように、患者情報が正しく活用されますように願っています。

SCN1A database 

第3回きよくん基金助成を贈呈した福岡大学小児科の石井敦士先生から、「SCN1Aデータベース」が出来ましたと連絡いただきました。これらのデータにより、ドラベ症候群の研究治療が進みますように願っています。

About Dravet Syndrom

A major characteristic of Dravet Syndrome(SME) is that there are many types of seizures. Also, when a seizure begins, sometimes it takes more than 2~3 hours, therefore many children who have experienced stop breathing. And it may be caused of encephalopathy and happen to the even death.
And, there are many features which trigger seizures in daily life, such as bathing, sunlight filtering through the trees, polka dot pattern, striped pattern etc. It is hard to eliminate these factors in daily life.
This disease happens to the one child per 40,000 people, and it was designated for child-specific diseases in 2005 and also designated for incurable in 2014.

特別仕掛けの時計

きよくんが初めて「かあさん」と言ってくれたのが12歳。
初めてジャンプが出来たのが13歳と、とてもゆっくりですが、
その時の喜びを歌にしました。
曲の最後にきよくんの生声の「かあさん」が入っています。

Epileptic Seizure Song

てんかん発作がおきる仕組みと、どういうものかを歌とアニメで紹介します。
てんかん発作には、実に様々な種類があり、すべてをひとつの曲にするのは不可能です。
ここで取り上げた発作は強直間代発作といい、Ｋiyoが持つ5種類の発作の中で私が一番ショックを受けてしまったタイプのものです。
私は、たとえ、ひとつでも、ないよりはあった方がいいと思い、暗くなりがちなテーマですが、明るく元気に啓発出来ればと考え制作しました。
てんかんを正しく理解していただき、偏見のない社会がきますように・・・

Use of Funds

Kiyokun Fund grant

All donations will be used for research grants.

Every year, we are doing "Kiyokun Fund grant" for research of the Dravet syndrome once a year for 500,000 yen.
We hold a commemorative lecture by adopted researchers and a family exchange meeting for patients with Dravet syndrome at the same time as the presentation ceremony.

create and manage databases

We create and manage databases to improve QOL(quality of life) of Dravet Syndrome. We ask to fill out to the patient family.
Not only patient families but also doctors, researcher, teachers, and supporters can browse it after registration.
The databases are divided as a section of Medical(seizure, taking medicine), Health(body, rehabilitation), Life(service, living place after parents death) for based on each gene mutation.
We hope children of Dravet Syndrome can live like a child and reach information those supporters of whose same generation's patients after even if thier parents are gone.
