In addition to his former position at Japanese Red Cross Medical Center in Shibuya, Tokyo and private practice in Tokyo/Yokohama, Dr. Oda served as a faculty member at Kanagawa Dental University for 40 years.
He regularly attends conferences and meetings to keep up-to-date with current methods in orthodontic practice.

We are conveniently located 30-second walk from JR/Yokohama Municipal Subway Nakayama station. 30 minutes from Shibuya or 20 minutes from Yokohama, it is easily accesible from Tokyo, Yokohama, Shonan, Yokosuka areas. Too far? Patients will be seen every five to 10 weeks, so rest assured, it is not so frequent. 

What type of braces?
We recommend traditional metal braces. There are good reasons why they remain popular. They offer a reliable, effective and economic option. Today's braces, in contrast to the past ones, are much smaller and more comfortable to wear. Clear braces are availabe at additional cost.

How long will orthodontic treatment take?
While it may vary, most cases take one to three years with the "average" being 22 months. Attending appointments on schedule and practicing proper oral hygiene are essential to keeping treatment on schedule. 

Budget and payment options?
The entire cost fo adult treatment is approximately ¥800.000 to ¥1.000.000 in total.(approximately $8.000-10.000) We offer installment payment planswith no interest up to 18 months.

Need assistance in English?
Dr. Oda was a dental school professor for many years and has treated patients from US bases in Yokohama/Yokosuka. Additionally, full billingual English assistant is always on standby.

At the first appointment, Dr. Oda will examine your dental history and can provide you with possible treatment options. He takes up to one and a half hours to answer all your questions. There is a charge of 3000 yen for the initial appointment.
