Learning to play an active role in the future

Stem Academy Kids is a STEM education school for toddlers and elementary school students, offering a unique integrated learning program with a focus on software programming. Our program is designed to broaden children's horizons and interests, while at the same time naturally fostering logical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Viscuit Programming

Viscuit programming, which does not rely on math, can help children develop an interest in using IT to create, while at the same time fostering the ability to think logically and methodically, which is a skill that develops rapidly from the age of 4/5.

Scratch Progamming

Scratch is one of the most famous visual programming languages in the world. We have games and animated texts that can be created in an interesting way for toddlers and elementary school students to learn to work with arrays and databases.

It's a step-by-step program with levels 1-7.
There are five pieces of work per level and a review test, for a total of 41 texts.

Puzzle games and animations are designed to make it fun to create, while at the same time allowing you to develop your skills.

School Concept

Lessons based on problem-based learning
Based on the American educator John Dewey's "Project Based Learning" theory, the program is not based on input learning such as memorizing knowledge, but on the ability to think of problems, discover problems, and solve them through programming to solve problems for which there is no right answer. Our goal is to provide lessons that emphasize the process of arriving at an answer, rather than the result of arriving at it. This type of problem-based learning (PBL) is currently receiving a lot of attention as a method of teaching "active learning" promoted by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology.

We use an "individualized instruction" style in our lessons. Each child can receive instruction that suits his or her academic ability and pace, and can learn step by step. In addition, students can ask the instructor for help until they get to the point where they don't understand, so they won't lose their motivation because they don't understand or find it difficult, but rather because they will continue to solve the problem and have fun.
