Nomura town is known for its traditional festival of sumo called “Otoi Ozumo”.
It has a history of 169 years, and it has been held annually without missing a single year.
As we would like you to know about this attractive tradition of Nomura, we arranged a one-day monitoring tour for both Japanese and non-Japanese.

photo shoots on a real sumo ring (dohyo)
eating sumo stew (chanko-nabe) at a local restaurant

Enjoy the delicious sumo stew "chanko-nabe" for lunch at the local restaurant "Coco-shokudo". Then, we will take you to a local market event "keitora-ichi". |
