整体 sei-tai
[整] SEI ....... conditioning
[体] TAI ............... body
Seitai techniques are based on a combination of traditional Japanese healing therapies. The role of the Seitai practitioner is to examine and treat the body's skeletal frame and muscles in order to eliminate any factors that weaken or obstruct the body's natural healing power.
You will lie down or sit on a futon, fully clothed. The practitioner will work on your whole body, by giving soft pressure from the thumbs, fingers or palms with "KI"(氣)-the body's vital energy-.
A Seitai practitioner must be sensitive to all the subtle differences and changes in the individual body. Therefore, a Seitai treatment is not at all similar to massaging a recipient's body in accordance with a prescribed manual.
輸氣 yuki
[輸/愉] YU … send/delightful
[氣] KI … vital energy
Laying the hands on the body to cure illness is not something that men have thought up; it is an instinctive method of treatment.
In the past and the present, in east and west, men have pressed a tooth that hurts with the hand, and they have pressed the stomach when it hurts.
It is a matter of pressing the body because one believes that this will cure it; it is purely a reflex action.
At nonoka seitai, we cure your physical/mental disorder using YUKI method.
