1995年、クリント・イーストウッド監督・主演によるハリウッド映画「マジソン郡の橋」が上映されました。カメラマンが主役ということで業界でも話題になりましたが、原作は同名の小説で、文庫化の時点で既に260万部を越える大ベストセラーになった作品の映画化でした。

相手役のフランチェスカを演じるメリル・ストリープと共に、二人のベテラン俳優が好演をしていますが、クリント・イーストウッド紛する主人公のカメラマン、ロバート・キンケイドが、この映画の中で使用したニコンFが現在、当店に保管されてます。

このカメラはウィーンで開催されたヴェストリヒト・フォトグラフィカ・オークションで当社が幸運にも落札したものですが、1960年代(原作では1965年)に海を渡ってアメリカで活躍したカメラが現役生活としての最後を映画出演という形で終え、ヨーロッパを経由して日本に帰ってきたものです。

半世紀近い時を経て、地球を一周して里帰りした我が家の文化遺産です。
皆様のおかげをもちまして、当社は今年創業80周年を迎えます。
その記念すべき年に、皆様へこれまでの感謝の気持ちを込めて、このカメラを展示し見て頂けたらと思います。

In 1995, the Hollywood movie "The Bridges of Madison County" directed and starring Clint Eastwood was screened. It became a hot topic in the industry because the cameraman played the leading role, but the original was a novel of the same name, and it was a movie adaptation of a work that had already become a big bestseller with over 2.6 million copies at the time of the paperback.

Two veteran actors are performing well, along with Meryl Streep, who plays Franceska, and Nikon F used by Robert Kincaid, played by Clint Eastwood's , in the film. Nikon F is currently stored in our shop.

This camera was fortunately won by our company at the Westricht Photographya Auction held in Vienna, but the camera that was active in the United States across the sea in the 1960s (1965 in the original) is used as an active life. It finished the last in the form of a movie appearance and returned to Japan via Europe.

It is a cultural heritage of my home that went around the earth and returned home after nearly half a century.
