The New Lesson
"Ichi-go Ichi-e"
A simple & minimal style of flower decoration + Photography

Concept for the new lesson:

The term "Ichi-go Ichi-e" is derived from a culture of tea ceremony in Japan. That means any moment in life cannot be repeated and always a once-in-a-lifetime-experience. Thus, we should love and take care of each moment with people and anything else surrounding us.

Based on this idea, the new flower arrangement/decoration lesson will start from January 2020. So, let's enjoy each moment with fresh and beautiful seasonal flowers.

What we will do

The theme is early spring seasonal flowers. Take a lecture on their characteristics and how to treat them. What design is better? How to place or fix them? What types of vases/containers are good for flowers? There are different methods for different amounts of flowers.

After the lecture, let's try arranging flowers!

Each attendee chooses a container and flowers, and arranges flowers in their own, unique, individual ways. After, attendees are taught how to photograph the flower arrangement with their cameras or smartphones. All skill levels are welcome!

Date & Time: January 12th, 2020. From 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm.
Lesson Fee: 5,000 JPY (After this lesson, the price is tentativley 8,000 JPY)
Capacity: 5 people

What we will provide

3-5 early spring flowers. Attendees can choose 1-2 items for the arragement.

The vases and containers are only used during the lesson, and the attendees are not able to keep them.

Attendees can keep the flowers from their arrangemnet and share the left over flowers among all attendees. Please bring a bag to take them home in.

NOTES

The payment is cash only. You cannot use any credit cards. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

Cancellation Policy:

If you cancel the reservation within 2 days of the workshop (Jan. 11th-12th), you will be charged the cancellation fee. Usually, the flowers are purchased about a week before the lesson (Jan.5th). Attendees may cancel without a cancellation fee if it is before the flowers are purchased. Please contact us in that case.
