What we do

Crescendo

Holding classes where students meet up and talk with volunteer members of the community

These classes are designed to foster a positive mindset towards the idea of “working” by creating an opportunity to meet trustworthy adults and lowering the stumbling block to communicating with others.
"Igokochi Cafe"
(Cozy Cafe)

A program designed to create places within schools where students can feel comfortable and develop a sense of belonging. We hold “Igokochi Cafe” sessions (meals included) at cafeterias in schools on a weekly basis. Social capital will be built by enabling students to meet people on a regular basis.

An Interview with Students

"I feel better after lestening to volunteer's experiences."
through the program 'Crescendo'

Students: Ruka Tanaka, Testuhiro Ozeki

Why you chose a part-time high school?

Ruka: One of the reason is that I didn't go junior high school enough so I was not able to go to the high school that I've wanted to go. But I thought that I had to go out a little so I chose a part-time high school that I don't have to go everyday.
How was the classes of Crescendo?

Ruka: I've taken the Crescendo twice. I like icebreakers such like a Karuta, Sugoroku. That was fun. I didn't remember the detail about the classes but I sometimes remind about the story of a volunteer. I remind about it when I have a nightmare of my bad experiences. I forgot the contents of the story. That was kinds of story like that I was bullied but now I am... I feel better with the fact that there was a person who talked about that.
Do you keep in touch with staffs?

Ruka: Yes. Tacchan (who is a DxP staff) and Gonchan (who is a graduated student) is really eary to talk with. Even now they listen to my complaints  and give some advices. This is presious relationships because I don't have a father and there is no close man around me. I really trust them.
