CNC cross hole deburring for a tapped hole 

Complete high-quality deburring on a tapped hole in a CNC machine. Use the spherical deburring cutter in combination with the custom-made tool path data.

Excellent deburring performance for M3-M24.

After drilling a prepared hole, run the preparation Path to suppresses burrs which are generated during tapping. Then run the finishing Path after tapping.

How to use

①Drill a prepared hole.

③After drilling a prepared hole, run the preparation Path to chamfer the yellow part.
⑤No burrs on the inner diameter because burrs are generated on the yellow part.
⑦Run the finishing Path which cuts into 10μm deeper than the preparation Path.

XEBEC Back Burr Cutter and Path completes accurate deburring of 3D-curved edge in a CNC machine in combination with the spherical deburring cutter and the custom-made tool path.

The tool path is custom-made in accordance with an edge profile, enabling uniform deburring amount while inhibiting secondary burrs.

XEBEC Back Burr Cutter

Long tool life thanks to the micro-grain cemented carbide. Applicable for difficult-to-cut material (e.g. titanium) as well as non-ferrous metals (e.g. aluminum) due to highly heat-resistant AlTiCrN coating.
The blade is designed to maximize cutting performance and to inhibit secondary burrs.

XEBEC Path for Back Burr Cutter

Thanks to the custom-made tool path, the Cutter cuts into a 3D-curved edge with the optimal cutting angle and inhibits secondary burrs.
The tool life is dramatically extended by continuously shifting the contact point of the cutting edge.
A single contouring pass shortens machining time 1/5 to 1/10 comparing with a spring type deburring tool.
