The Tour Details

Hotaka Station (JR Oito Line)
Hotaka station is between Hakuba & Matsumoto. Only 30 minutes to Matsumoto, and 1 hour to Hakuba. If you wish to use vehicle, you can rent a bike or car near the station.  
Soba (Japanese noodle made of buckweat) Festival
Soba Festival is held on 9th and 10th at Hotaka Jinja Shrine. 
Please enjoy Japanese style festival & eat soba as much as you can!
Hotaka Jyuku
There is a long street called "Salt Road" where you can see Japanese old-style buildings. 
W-Asobi Guided Cycling Tour
W-Asobi is a company which deals hike & bike tour in Azumino. They will take you to many beautiful scenic spots by bike with professional English guidance.

Takahashi Setsuro Art Museum of Azumino
You can experience lacquerwear art craft. In the museum, you can see beautiful fine art made by Seturo TAKAHASHI. 

On 9th, there will be a tea ceremony at the garden of red-leaves.
Daio Wasabi Farm
Crystal clear water & fresh green wasabi will welcome you. The movie director Akira KUROSAWA took the movie at this spot. 
Photogenic & dynamic place where you can feel the history of exploitation in Azumino.

About the Bike Tour by W-Asobi

Bike tour includes: guiding service in English, rental bicycle, helmet.

What to bring: day pack, ID card,water / soft drink (500 ml), rain gear (separate anorak and trousers are preferable. Umbrella is not good for cycling.), gloves (to keep your hand safe and warm)

*Please cover the accident by your insurance during this tour.
*If you cannot control the bicycle, we are sorry but we need to decline your participation.
